flea market fun

After talking about it for months, my friend and I finally got over to the Eastern Market on Capitol Hill this Sunday! Not only did we both pick up some of the juiciest pears I've ever eaten, but I found some great little treasures like this skeleton key and a couple letterpress blocks:
The flea market was a little sparse because it was so cold and blustery out, but we met some really interesting vendors! I can't wait for the weather to warm up, so I can visit the market in its prime!

Fun fact: Did you know January 9 was apparently "no pants on the subway" day? Neither did I.. that is, until I was riding home and witnessed all the wool coats and boots paired with boxers and tighty whities!! Yikes!
